Throughout the course of his musical career, he has played in different styles from Jazz, Reggae and Rock, developing a good sense of how things work in the professional world, and expressing his feelings through his instrument. Been involved as a translator for the Panama Jazz Festival since 2013, international student and social worker of the Fundacion the Jazz Danilo Perez where we work with kids on social danger using music as a tool for social change, 1 on 1 guitar tutor, music theory and ear training with students in Australia and Panama.
Composer & Arranger
Studied arranging techniques from small jazz combos to Big Bands settings with Dr. Mace Francis at Western Australian Academy of Performing arts, as well as orchestra settings and string sections with Andrew Callaghan at Jmc Academy in Melbourne.

Since a very young age, Miguel has been involved in different bands giving him a sense of how things work in the professional world, his biggest success is with the group Kris Pineda & Los Chichos form in Panama city in January 2015 together with classmates. This is a new concept where they mixed rhythms from Latino America and the Caribbean together with Jazz ideologist and lyrics based on social awareness in the country.

Experience working at independent radio in Panama city (Radio10 88.1) and at local bars as an event developer and promoter reaching over 300 people per night, Later using these contacts to create own events were Kris Pineda & Los Chichos as the main event.
Bio
Miguel Antonio Sandoval is a passionate Musician and a talented instrumentalist. Based in Panama City, was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1992 to an Italian Family. At very young age moved to Panama city where he first got in touch with music. After finishing High School, Joined Fundacion de Jazz Danilo Perez, place where his life was dramatically improved by Maestros, giving him the mission and responsibility to care for the new generations of Panamanian through music.
Attended to Berklee 5 weeks summer program in 2014, later moving to Perth, Western Australia where he obtains a Diploma in Jazz Performance at W.A.A.P.A in 2016. In 2019 finished a Bachelor degree in Contemporary Music Performance at JMC Academy in Melbourne, Australia.
